I had fun through my nieces though and somehow managed to fit onto the veggie tales roller coaster with Aviah.

Today, I’m in Gatlinburg enjoying the day. We started off by heading to the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Rockies which was really cool.

Tonight Tim and I are going to the Knoxville Ice Bears game which should be a blast.

Aviah is thier oldest girl and they have another daughter who is 1 year and a 1/2 old but she is sleeping now so I’ll have pictures of her later.

They live in Morristown, TN and it’s actually quite a pretty awesome place. I could totally live here.

When he came into my life, we decided to name him ‘Yeats’, after the Irish poet.

Yeats stood by my side as I grew up and worked my way through the various stages of a growing boy. He always was there right by my side, like a good dog should be.

God blesses us with certain people in our lives that impact us in a way that changes who we are: one of those people was my dog, Yeats.

I could never thank him enough for being there for me the last 14 years. Last night I saw him for the final time, a withered disfigurement of the dog I used to hunt, swim, run, rollerblade and play with. I won’t keep his physical atrophy as his last memory with me but rather all the good times he brought to my heart throughout the years that I was blessed to have his presence.

This is to you Yeats – You’re the best dog a boy could ever have. Good dog.
