On October 2, 1994 God gave me a dog to be by my side and protect me while I grew up. When he came into my life, we decided to name him ‘Yeats’, after the Irish poet.
Yeats stood by my side as I grew up and worked my way through the various stages of a growing boy. He always was there right by my side, like a good dog should be.
God blesses us with certain people in our lives that impact us in a way that changes who we are: one of those people was my dog, Yeats.
I could never thank him enough for being there for me the last 14 years. Last night I saw him for the final time, a withered disfigurement of the dog I used to hunt, swim, run, rollerblade and play with. I won’t keep his physical atrophy as his last memory with me but rather all the good times he brought to my heart throughout the years that I was blessed to have his presence.
This is to you Yeats – You’re the best dog a boy could ever have. Good dog.
Yeats Mullane – RIP 1994 – 2008

I’m having dinner with Adrienne’s dad’s family at his house over in Marco island. It’s always nice to come over here and there is some great weather to boot. Here’s a shot from the backyard.

This stupid thing impresses me everday I use it. It’s only a $900 Toshiba Satelitte but I swear it has a personality complex and it thinks that it’s a Porsche. My dad bought it for me about 8 months ago so it’s not brand spanking new by any meands, although it looks new.
I haven’t upgraded anything on it but here are the basic specs; it has an Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 @ 1.83 Ghz, 3062 MB RAM and a 250gb HD. Those numbers are right around average depending on who you ask but this thing pumps out work like nobody’s business.
Today, at the same time, I had open 4 Firfox windows with at least 15 tabs in each one; Outlook; IE6 while streaming music; Photoshop CS3 with 10 PSD files open and Flash CS3 with 2 FLV files open; all while publishing a flash file, and the thing was humming along like, well, a Hummer… maybe?
That’s why I always recommend this bad boy to anyway that asks. Anyway, this is just a testament to my machine that is one of the only things I’ve ever used that works as fast I do.
Toshiba FTW!!!!
Had the chance to check out a NASCAR race this past weekend in Homestead.
Pretty freaking cool and as stupid as this sounds. Those cars go pretty fast and are REALLY loud.
I’ve been 5 feet away from 3,000 horsepower dragsters during a burnout and these things are almost as loud from a few hundred feet away.
Granted there are a lot more of them, 42 more to be exact, but still suprising.

Just flew into Las Vegas this morning for the 2008 SEMA Show. I feel sick as heck right now, hopefully I feel better in a few. Here are some shots I took from the plane before we started our descent.
