Well the last two nights we played against the UCF Ice Bulls. We played hard but with only one practice a week we really can’t be expected to play as cohesive as we should be.
The guys from UCF aren’t individually as talented as we are, I think, but they make for that and then some with how they work the puck around and how they play together.
On Friday, Bents played, and even after a weak first period, we came out strong in the last 2 and came away with a 5-2 loss.
Saturday was my turn and I was ready to kick some Bull ass all by myself. I came out strong and made some critical saves to keep my guys in it during the first half of the first. However, the guys from UCF worked the puck around and got some quality shots that resulted in a few goals. I’m not sure if I didn’t stop them because they were genuinely good shots or because I have been to a single practice all season; regardless, they were good enough shots to get past me.
I stayed in it until the end, along with a few of it teamates, and we did the best we good.
Overall it was fun game even though we didn’t come away with the W.

I really like my direct marketing teacher which is why today in class he disappointed me when talking about SEO.
He’s a smart guy but nothing infuriates me more than listening to someone that does not know about SEO, talk about SEO.
Here’s a shot from my class.
Edit at 9:38pm – Yup, after listing to him for another 10 minutes, I could smack him.

(Woke up: 6am for work)
Yup, for the second time in 3 weeks I drove to Rockledge to play the FIT Panthers but this time with a twist. Our first game would be held in Daytona as we took on the Embry-Riddle Eagles.
Game time was scheduled for 10pm but when we arrived at the arena we knew we weren’t going to be playing for some time as the rink had turned into half ice half pool. Apparently, the power had gone down and they were working to fix the issue.
(New game start time: 11:30)
Embry-Riddle is one of those teams that gets you to understand what college hockey is all about, as there is beer being served throughout the arena and therefore drunk college kids ranting profanities I’d prefer not to type, while their band joins in to make the place insufferably loud.
The place is the craziest rink I’ve ever played at and that’s saying a lot.
Bents played this game but our team didn’t feel the need to do the same. We ended up beating ourselves 10-6 in a game we could of easily won.
(End game time 3:30am)
After the game, we made the hour drive back down south to our hotel which was next to the Rockledge rink and I proceeded to past out upon arrival.
(Sleep time: 4am)
The next day brought on the FIT Panthers that I shut out the week prior.
I took care of my body throughout the day and was ready to rock-n-roll at game time.
(Game time 10:30pm)
I kept my mid on point and was able to pull out another shut out with a final score of 11-0.
I didn’t leave this weekend unscathed though, as somehow a puck sliced my arm open through my jersey and undershirt. Pictures are below.
I’m driving home tonight to get an early start on my day tommorrow.
(Beginning my 3 hour journey home: 1:33am)

My team and I had a game against the Citadel and FIT this past weekend in Rockledge and I took my bff Josh along for the ride. He still hasn’t gave me the pics or video he took throughout the whole weekend and my pictures aren’t very good because I forgot to take some along the way but better pictures will be along later when he gets off his butt and gets them to me.
The game Friday night my boy Bentley played and came away with a W with a score of 12-3.
The trip is about 2 hour and 30 min so we got a hotel for the night so we werent driving like crazy people all day long. I think I gave the shack we stayed at too much credit for calling it a hotel though, sure there was a door and a key card but beyond that anything else was asking too much.
It was a Ramada Inn and at some point in time there was a flood and afterwards when they were cleaning the place up, they saw all the mold infesting the room and said, “Eh, everyone is going green nowadays anyway, lets leave it.” Our room was COVERED in mold and you’ll have to wait for Josh’s pictures to believe me how bad it was. On top of that the shower decided it will turn off when its good and ready and leaked the whole night.
We woke up from our spore infection unit and had a nice breakfast at McD’s where I tried to steal an extra OJ on the counter but the manager caught me, lol.
After breakfast we headed to the rink and I proceeded to strap my gear on to kick some FIT tail.
I went out feeling great and looking for blood and the FIT team came out looking to skate around a bit and maybe play some hockey. However, after 2 periods and getting no shots on net they decided to play some hockey and gave me some pressure. With the help of the AMAZING calls by the zebras, we played on a 5-3 for about 6 minutes of the period.
Towards the end of the game I got a tested a good bit but I held my ground, and knocked thier biggest player on his a$$, and recorded the shutout and the win with a score of 10-0. When Josh gets off his butt I’ll have some cool shots and video from the game.

On the way back we stopped at Firehouse Subs which was really good but went kind of overboard on the firehouse theming in the design. The girls sitting behind Josh starred at me everytime I walked by them, I’M NOT A PIECE OF MEAT!!!!

Here is the group of misfits that I would gladly get my carotid artery sliced open to stop a puck for, as long as I didn’t die… lol.
